Henry Frowde, Hodder & Stoughton (FRO)
These four titles were re-issues of books originally published by Hodder & Stoughton alone in 1914, perhaps before the war began, without illustrations. The new editions were issued in cloth bindings with internal photographs, each with an illustration in colour by Blampied pasted on the front cover and a small illustration pasted onto the spine. Each book probably had a dust jacket too, possibly with the same illustrations on it, but they have not been seen. There was a fifth title in the series called The German Army from Within by 'A British Officer', but it was not reissued.
