The French Army from Within

By Ex-Trooper

The author of this title has not been identified.

This title was one of a series of five books first published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1914 in a series called the 'Army from within'. They were also published by Doran in the USA. The series included a title called The German Army from Within by 'A British officer who has served in it', later identified as T. Burke. It was not reissued in this series, perhaps because the war with Germany had started.

Notes: A dealer I met had seen a dust jacket for one of this series, but I have never seen one. If you have one, please let me know. The illustration on the spine may not be by Blampied as the horse is not drawn well.
