P.G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) was an English author of humorous novels and stories. Love Among the Chicken was first published in 1906. Wodehouse revised it in 1920 and it was reissued in 1921 with a new dust jacket, designed by Blampied, which was used until the late 1940s. Blampied designed the dust jacket of another of Wodehouse's novels, Jill the Reckless.
