Sir Walter Scott

Carr reported in 1987 in his History of the QTP that he had published two impressions of poems by Walter Scott (1771-1832). Two impressions have been seen which are almost identical except for the colour of the covers, so which came first is not known. There's a 50% probability of being right.

Notes: This could be the second impression. No other volume is numbered 78. The number 77 was given to Gidner's Brief Lives, which was published in May 1985 to coincide with the publication of The Battle of Pollocks Crossing, so Scott is presumed to have been published at about the same time.
