This Dictionary was written by Carr, whose mother's maiden name was Elizabeth Welbourn. See also Elizabeth Welbourn's Celebrated Reciter for all Occasions. I have a card sent by J.L. Carr to his friend Douglas Maxwell which indicates that this was published in 1985. There may be two impressions as one has been seen with glossy card covers as well as the impression described below.
