This is one of many books published by Thomas Nelson and Sons which reproduced drawings by Blampied from earlier titles. This book used four line drawings and one of the colour plates from the first edition of At the Farm.

Notes: The date is taken from a copy in the British Library. My copy has an inscription dated 'Xmas 1937' and a sticker for 'Saville's Stores, Maritzburg', which is in South Africa.

Six of the other colour drawings are by Scot Rankin and one by George Morrow. The drawings on the covers are not signed but are probably by Scot Rankin as well. Rankin's illustrations have been taken from a larger book entitled Uncle's Farm (1921) and used again.
