Camilla Kenyon (1876-1957) was an American author of two novels; this was her first. It was published in the USA in 1919 by Bobbs Merrill and by Herbert Jenkins in the UK in 1921. Little is know about her. She was born in California Camille Eugene Lies as the seventh of eight children to Eugene Henri Camille Lies, who died aged 60 y when she was five years old, and his wife Estrella Charlotte Lies, neé Mott. Her father served as a member of the California State Assembly from 1859-60. She married Walter J. Kenyon on 30th June 1896 in San Francisco.
