Ethel Carnie Holdsworth

Ethel Carnie Holdsworth (1886-1962) was a working-class writer, feminist, and socialist activist from Lancashire. Although Herbert Jenkins published six of her novels, only one copy of one novel is available for sale on the internet in March 2020. Only one of her novels is available on the Online Books Page. This dust jacket is known only from Blampied's album of jackets. The catalogue entry on Jisc states: D.j. design by [Illegible]. No it's not, it's signed 'Blam'.
