Telling Fortunes by Cards

Cicely Kent (jacket and title page) or Cecily Kent (cover)

Like the other title, Telling Fortunes by Tea Leaves, this title is not consistent in how the author's name is spelled: see the jacket and cover, below. They seem to be the only two books written using this name, or variants of this name, and I can find nothing about the author other than entries on these books, so it was probably a pseudonym.

This title was published in 1922 by Small, Maynard and Company (listed in Jisc, not seen) and by Dodd, Mead and Company, New York using the jacket designed by Blampied. It seems to have been more popular in the USA than in the UK.

Notes: This is the first American jacket I have found by Blampied for books first published by Herbert Jenkins. This suggests that there may be other American books with a jacket by Blampied.
