Cyrus Townsend Brady (1861-1920) was an American preacher, journalist and writer. He objected to women having the vote. This novel was first published in the USA by Fleming H. Revell Company in 1917.

Notes: I would never have know that this jacket was designed by Blampied unless I hadn't seen this note in The Bookman in June 1922 (volume 62, no 369, p 142). It is most unlike Blampied. Of course, The Bookman could have got it wrong, but there is no way to check.
