Tit For Tat, A Story of the Race Gangs

Frank Romer

Frank Romer, M.R.C.S. is listed in the catalogue of the British Library as the author of five novels between 1924 and 1931, several of which seem to be associated with horse racing, and as the author of two medical volumes on bone-setting. This was his first novel. The novels are rare titles, as only two of the five are available for sale on viaLibri.

This is the only dust jacket by Blampied that has been found for a novel published by Duckworth.

Notes: The white patch is probably where a sticker used to be that showed a reduced price, suggesting that it didn't sell well. See the copy here. An advert inside the rear fold in is for Elinor Glyn's new book called This Passion Called Love, cloth, 5s net.
