W.R. Titterton was British journalist, writer and poet who was the biographer of G.K. Chesterton. This is an autobiographical novel which the introduction states is neither fact nor fiction. It was also published in the USA by Mitchell Kennerley using a book that had been printed in England but with a different publisher printed on the dust jacket and title page.
