This is the seventh of 11 novels in the Collection Nelson with a dust jacket designed by Blampied.
This copy illustrated is possibly a later edition dated 1930, but it is an uncommon book, so might not have been reprinted. Only the front panel and spine of the jacket are shown. The design is not signed but Edwin Jack acknowledge the receipt of the drawing for this book from Blampied on 2nd February 1920. It may have been modified, as unlike all other titles, the lettering is not by Blampied.
Jules Michelet (English) (French) (1798-1894) was a French historian. I think that Du 18 Brumaire á Waterloo was first issued as a part of Michelet's Histoire de la Révolution française published between 1847 and 1875. Brumaire is the second month of the French republican calendar.
