This book was published by Thomas Nelson and Sons in the UK and in the USA. The two editions are almost identical except for the title page. The US edition states that the book is by Bess M. Young, Horace Mann School, but the UK edition does not.

Both editions state that the book is illustrated by J. Murray Thomson but the book, which contains 24 pages of colour drawings printed in one side of glossy paper, are by a number of different artists: 3 are by Blampied (1 signed), 6 of them are signed J Murray Thomson, 2 signed Harry Wooley, 1 signed Frank Hart, 1 signed Winifred Austin, 1 signed Lorris A Sargent, and 10 are unsigned.
