The Times Red Cross Storybook

'Carnage' by Compton Mackenzie, pages 104-114, illustration facing page 108
'The probation of Jimmy Baker' by Albert Kinross, pages 140-148, illustration on page 145

This book was published for The Times Fund by Hodder & Stoughton. It contained stories by writers currently serving in the forces including A.A. Milne, Ian Hay and Warwick Deeping. The artists who illustrated the stories are not credited anywhere so here they are, if I can read the signature or there is one: Hardy, P. Neville, Abbey (Joseph van Abbé), J.H. Hartley, unreadable, H.M. Brock, Barrow, Edmund Blampied, C. Morse (Salomon van Abbé), W.B. Huntley, H.R. Millar and two unsigned. The van Abbé brothers were Blampied's brothers-in-law.
