This is the second of only two novels by Louis Stone (1871-1935) who was born William Lewis Stone in England but emigrated to Australia with his family as a child. He also wrote a play which ran for a week in Sydney. He doesn't seem to have been very succesful. There are no copies of this edition of the novel available for sale on the internet.
