The Club of Queer Trades

G[ilbert] K[enneth] Chesterton

Gilbert Kenneth Chesterton (1874-1936) was a writer, philosopher, poet and critic. The Club of Queer Trades is a collection of stories first published in 1905 by Harper and Brothers in London and New York. A second edition was published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1912. The copies of the Collins edition in British libraries are not dated except that the copy in Edinburgh estimates publication between 1910 and 1919. The later date is more likely, but I think Blampied worked for Collins only for one year, 1922. The London Book Co. edition is dated 1932 in the catalogue of the National Library of Wales.
