Ada Grey Wilson

Ada Grey Wilson (d 1948) was an Australian lacemaker, designer and member of the Art Society of Tasmania. She was the daughter of Tasmanian Premier Sir James Milne Wilson (1812-1880) and Deborah Hope. She moved to England in 1912 (or 1914) so this bookplate was designed for her before she left Australia. The Museum of Tasmania has a collection of lace that she donated in 1938
