Evelyn Andros de la Rue

Evelyn Andros de la Rue (1879–1950) was the son of Thomas de la Rue, who founded the security printing company Thomas de la Rue and Co. He became 2nd Baronet de la Rue of Cadogan Square, Chelsea, London in 1911, the year this bookplate was designed for him. He was Captain in the Royal East Kent Yeomanry before joining the new Royal Air Force, which was established in 1918.
